WHY SHOULD PEACE COP NOT BE SIGNED INTO LAW

An issue that has remain unsolved. signing of peace cop into law which is supposed to be an employment opportunity for the youth, please tell me are these reasons given by our president a reasonable one or just an excuse. here are His reasons for not signing peace cop into law read on the vanguard  news 27/02/2018

1. Paucity of funds

There is no doubt that the Nigerian economy has not been the way it used to.Our mono-economic base – oil dependency – has not helped matters. This is made worse by the drop in the price of crude oil in the international market.

The question now is, is Nigeria that poor that employment can not be given?
What happened to all the funds the country has realized apart from the one snake swallowed?

2.  Duplication of duties

Opponents to the establishment of the Peace have said that youth organization if approved would only lead to duplication of duties already been carried out by existing security outfits like the Police and Civil Defense.

The security we have in this country are they enough to fight the crimes that happens on daily bases?  everyday people suffer from different attacks. should the workload of crimes in this country be left on the shoulder of few? why not give room to another to easy the burden of some and better the life of others.

 3. Security concerns

A major concern of some Nigerians has been the military kind of training members of the Peace Corps are meant to undertake.

please are they bokoharam or headsmen, this made me thinking who will fight the headsmen for us, what are the government doing about it? is it only to withhold employment that our president can do? why not find a way to stop the headsmen and their evil works.

The peace cop members all over the country are now praying seriously about this issue and that kept me wondering what will happen after their prayers?
